Rebrand...you decide
So as most people know, theres this new craze of rebranding going on with big corporations. Personally I love that theres some change going on in the design world. Here are a few examples. Feel free to comment and spout about what you think works and doesn't work ok?
I really like Pepsi's logo but hate their type, I like KFC's new look, I like Xerox's new look too. As for Jack in the Box, I like the retro look of it, but I really liked the old ligatures that were in the type on the old design. Kraft shouldn't have changed their logo in my opinion, but that's just what I think

My Favorite Books
I love reading (although my time to do so is very few and far between) so I thought I'd shout out on my favorite books. Here weeeeee goooooooooo.....
As a child growing up I think my favorite book was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. In a land called Chewandswallow, the weather determined what the people got to eat. The illustrations are really cool as well.
My favorite western book is Taggart. My dad always read these western books so every now and then I would pick one up and read it. Here's the overview from the back cover, its pretty typically western: His name was Taggart and he rode with a price on his head through the bloodred canyons of Apache country. Behind him was a ruthless bounty hunter--the deadliest lawman in the West. In front of him was a fortune in gold--and a pretty young woman hell-bent on carrying that fortune to safety. Suddenly Taggart was faced with a choice. He could either keep riding and leave the stubborn lady to fate and the Apaches. Or he could stay and help her make it out alive. But for a man like Taggart the answer was simple. He would stay. Even if it meant cutting off his own escape--even if it meant doubling his chance of death.
My favorite thriller/action books are the Bourne trilogy.
My favorite book of all time is A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway. What do you get when you have an American Ambulance driver, a british nurse, and an italian war? One of the most classic novels written.

Anthony Bourdain is my IDOL
Did anyone watch No Reservations last? Sri Lanka baby! I had a basketball game last night so I missed it but I TiVo'd his show and watched it later. I think I've seen every single episode he's done and I'm not gonna lie, the guy lives the best life in the world. He just gets to travel around, eat the best food, drink, and engage in the culture (no spu pun intended). Just in case you arent firmiliar with Tony's stuff, I put in a clip for you entitled "food porn." You know exactly what that means too, food so good you just have to sit there, salivate, and pop a big hunger erection.
